The Cameron Scarf

Note: For the purpose of this pattern, “psso” means pass the slip stitch over both the K1 and the YO

C4B - Place the next two stitches on a cable needle and hold to the back of the work.  K2, then knit the two stitches from the cable needle..

  • Materials: 150 - 200 grams Debbie Bliss Cashmerino (or any yarn you prefer).
  • Needles:  US size 8 (or size appropriate for your yarn).
  • Cast on 36 stitches
  • 1:    K1, *sl1, K1, YO, psso; repeat from*, end K1
  • 2:    Purl
  • Repeat Rows 1 and 2 twice more; 6 rows total.
  • 7:    K1, *(sl1, K1, YO, psso) x 3, P2, K4, P2; repeat from *, end (sl1, K1, YO, psso) x3, K1
  • 8:    P7, K2, P4, K2, P6, K2, P4, K2, P7
  • 9:    K1, *(sl1, K1, YO, psso) x 3, P2, K4, P2; repeat from *, end (sl1, K1, YO, psso) x3, K1
  • 10:  P7, K2, P4, K2, P6, K2, P4, K2, P7
  • 11:  K1, *(sl1, K1, YO, psso) x3, P2, C4B, P2; repeat from*, end (sl1, K1, YO, psso) x3, K1
  • 12:  P7, K2, P4, K2, P6, K2, P4, K2, P7
  • Repeat rows 7-12 for desired length
  • Repeat rows 7-10
  • Repeat rows 1 and 2 three times.
  • Bind off

I don’t see why this wouldn’t be perfectly fine without the top and bottom borders and the next time I make this, I will probably do it that way.

Please let me know if you encounter any difficulties with this pattern.  I’ll be glad to help or to make any corrections that may be nessecary :)
