And the Winnah is….

Olay - this morning we had the big draw…

Cue hunting shark music from Jaws...DA-dum, DA-dum, DadumDadumDadum…)

And here’s the pick…

And here’s the winner!

Greta, drop me a line letting me know where you’d like me to send the yarn and needles and I’ll get them out to you, pronto :)

Thanks everyone for your sweet and kind comments.  I so wish we could all meet at a coffee shop,  sit down for a day and just knit and get to know one another.  That would be so much fun!

  1. Thank-you, thank you, thank you, Robbyn!!  I hope I’m worthy and am able to make the yarn into something beautiful.  This gift will be treasured and honored.  Here’s to many more Blogiversaries to come!

  5. Congratulations Greta!

Carol, that would be quite the trip for me, but it sure would be fun, wouldn’t it?

Robbyn, I love your nail polish! *grin* I’ve been developing a nice little stash of nail polish colours, even though I can only wear it on my toes.

  7. Lynne -

I love it!  It could be called The Knitters International Coffeeshop and it would feature both coffees and yarns from all over the world.  And anyone, from anywhere in the world could come and join the conversation and the knitting.

Ahhh - that would be sweet indeed :)

  8. congrats greta-

ah, a meet-up would be nice wouldn’t it? i’m the annoying person who has *never* actually had a face-to-face meeting with another knitter- it would be so lovely to be in the company of kindred spirits-

those are quite spiffy nails indeed- i used to sport long well-kept talons, but for some reason lately i have cracking, chipping, peeling things on my fingertips and cannot grow them out beyond the raggedy unkept stage- i’ll enjoy yours while i continue to increase the calcium!!

    stay happy-

  9. Barb -

Eh, well the secret’s out :)  That beautiful hand and that gorgeous nail color belong to Myria, not to me.  She takes much better care of her hands than I do; I just don’t seem to have the patience.

You’d just have to break yo9ur no-meet streak and come to the coffee shop.  It wouldn’t be complete without you!
