Fluffy

We lost our friend today.

The Fluff-monster

I held him before he was a minute old and this afternoon, held him as he went from this world to the next.  He had an abundant and generous personality and a sweet, gentle soul.  I’m going to miss him so.

Rest in peace, dear, dear friend.

  2. I’ so sorry to hear about Fluffy.  I lost my cat about 4 years ago and I still think of her.  This link has a wonderful poem by an unknown author.  It’s called the Rainbow Bridge, and it is such a beautiful poem.  I hope it brings you some comfort.

  7. Argh. Your news truly broke my heart this morning, Robbyn. I lost both members of my 17-year-old sister-and-brother cat duo a few years ago, and have never fully recovered, so I understand what you’re feeling. A big hug to you from across this all-of-a-sudden-too-big country.

  8. I’m sorry.  I like to think of all the hair “donated” from my dog that’s knitted into sweaters and scarves for friends and family across the country—it’s like she’s hugging us.  I’m sure Fluffy is a part of your finished projects, too.

  10. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my cat, Gizmo, just a month ago, and I can sympathize with how you must be feeling. Our pets are so special to us and are greatly missed. I hope that you are feeling better.

  11. Oh so hard to loose a dear friend and member of the family.  It scares me to think that’s ahead for us.  What a great gift our furry friends are.

  12. Robbyn and Myria,

I’m so sorry for your loss.  It’s never easy to lose a beloved friend, I still miss my Bruiser and she’s been gone 3 years now.  I wish there was something I could say or do to ease your pain.
